A Credit Card can be used to pay for almost anything. Whether you need to pay off a bill, do your weekly shopping or even watch a film at the cinema, you can use a credit card to pay for all these things.

Credit Cards allow you to make purchases and then pay for them later. This is what's called buying 'on credit'. This means that even when you have no funds left you will still be able to pay when you need to.

Although this is great for giving you that extra spending power, with a credit card it can be easy to get into debt. As you pay interest on the amount you pay back, then the sum you owe can quickly spiral out of control. Be careful when you use your card and make sure you do not spend more than you can afford to pay back.
